Rebecca Anderson - President

I'm originally from Florida, a UCF alum. My husband Andrew and I bought our house here in Morningside in 2011. We had to move away for a while to Boston for his job, but we loved the area and our home so much we moved back at the first opportunity this past April. We have 2 little girls named Lucy age 4 and Gabby aged 8 months and a black lab female named Brooks. Andrew works in aviation and I am a stay at home mom. I'm really thrilled to be planting roots here in Senoia, everyone has been so welcoming, and I have made so many friends, mostly thanks to the neighborhood pool! I'm truly looking forward to giving back to Morningside!

Tim Rada - Vice President

My wife, Jenny and I along with our son, Logan, moved into Morningside in February of 2015...Jenny has another daughter, Kim, who is married and lives in Panama City where she is a nurse...She is a mother of 2, which makes Jenny and I, grandparents...That makes Logan, at the age of 6, an uncle 2 times over...An uncle at age 6, can you believe it?  Jenny was a teacher and now teaches Logan at home as he is officially a kindergartener...Actually, this works out great because due to her auto-immune disease, she can't drive...You might recognize her as the one in the motorized wheelchair rolling around the neighborhood...We built this house, our dream home, with her convenience in mind...The hallways are extra wide, there's a ramp both in the front and the garage for easier access, along with a walk path all the way around to the basement...For the last 10 years, I drove the big brown truck for UPS...Last May, I was presented with an opportunity that I couldn't refuse...I left UPS to become the head of Sales at 3 Guys Golf Carts in Peachtree City...We are so glad that we made this change...I've been involved with the Social Committee ever since we moved in...I come from a very large family, so get togethers and playing games has been a part of my life ever since I can remember...We love this neighborhood and Logan loves all the friends he has made...I like to golf, play poker and watch football...We're not going anywhere anytime soon, so I plan to be a part of this neighborhood and on committees for years to come...Join me for a round of golf on my par 3 golf course on my front lawn that I named, Senoia National...It's a 218yd, par 28...The course record is a 29 held by yours truly, but I plan to shatter that this season...Stop by and chat sometime...Talk to you's soon...

Chris Kimner - Secretary

Chris Kimner and his wife, Mandy moved to Morningside in March 2014.   They have 4 children ranging in ages 5 to 1.   He earned his Masters Degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University in 2004 and Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from North Georgia College & State University (currently University of North Georgia).  Chris works with the State of Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles as the Director of Internal Affairs and Training.  In this capacity, Chris oversees all training functions of the agency as well as any internal investigations.  He is responsible for the physical security of the agency offices headquartered in Atlanta and personal security of its five Governor-appointed Board Members.  He is actively involved with his community through both the HOA and city government.  Upon arriving in Morningside, he immediately began his involvement with the HOA by volunteering to become a member of the ACC.  A year later in May 2015, Chris was chosen to be a part of the City of Senoia's Parks and Recreation committee which is responsible for developing and maintaining short and long-term plans for growth and improvement for Parks & Recreational services.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the downtown area of Senoia and when the leaves begin to drop, he is out in the woods camping or hunting.  He is also an avid Georgia Bulldogs football fan.

Silas Martinez - Treasurer

Jane and I moved to Senoia from Whittier CA (near Los Angeles) in December 2016, after house hunting from Ohio for about three months. We were both born in CO and raised in UT. We have two grown, married children, Jane Eve (Kyle TX) and Silas (Carlisle, PA) and four adult grandchildren. I served in the U.S. Army for four years as an Accounting & Finance Specialist for the Intelligence branch out of Ft Meade, MD. I have a BS in Data Processing from Weber State University Ogden, UT and a MBA from Cal State Polytechnic University, Pomona CA. I worked in IT for 32 years as a computer programmer (COBOL) and a project manager and am certified as a Project Manager Professional through Project Management Institute. I retired from Northrop after 27 years and that brought us to Senoia. We were looking for a place that was kind to retirees, economically and was that not as busy and congested as Los Angeles. Senoia fits the bill! We love it here (except for the summer humidity). We attend Legacy Christian Church and are forgiven sinners, striving to be more like our Lord.

Jim Allerdice - City Liaison

Colleen and I moved to Morningside in April of 2013.  Our kids are grown and gone, but we still have our fur babies, Max and Jack.  I retired from the FAA in November of 2014 with almost 35-years as an Air Traffic Controller between the US Air Force and the FAA.  My last duty station was the Atlanta TRACON in Peachtree City where we provide Radar Approach Control Service to the World's Busiest Airport, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.  I served as President of the Morningside HOA from January 2014 to December 2015. After resigning from the Board, I retained my position a Communication Committee Chairperson and assumed the additional role as Chairperson of the Architectural Control Committee.  I currently am the Manager of ABCx2, LLC, an Aviation Consulting Firm specializing in Performance Based Navigation Design and Implementation and Environmental Issues concerning Airport Noise.  This position has taken much of my time lately, but I believed it was time to at least return to the BOD to be part of the process of keeping our neighborhood the premier place to live in Senoia!  Thank you to all of our neighbors for continuing to make Morningside a wonderful place to live!!
